This new display highlights tea pots, tea cups, saucers and jugs from Swindon’s growing collection of Studio Ceramics. Celebrating form and function, the display shows how artists have adapted traditional vessels to create objects of beauty and innovation. The exhibition features teapots by Geoffrey Whiting, Ivan Martin and David Leach, jugs and pots by Richard Batterham and Ray Finch, and a complete coffee service made by Lucy Rie. The display will also feature recent gifts to the collection by Akiko Hirai, Takeshi Yasuda and Masamichi Yoshikawa
