Wiltshire Festivals (click here)
We are spoilt for choice here in Wiltshire when it comes to Festivals.
From the famous “World’s Festival ” WOMAD in the north of the county to the “Cuckoo Fair “ on the southern borders in Downton , (where fairs were first recorded in 1249) , and an abundance of festivals in between.
Maybe something to really sing and dance about at the 45th Chippenham Folk Festival a unique and distinctive event of national importance.
Why not get out and enjoy the fresh Wiltshire air in your lungs at the Corsham Walking Festival, with an amazing variety of walk themes such as Brunel’s railway, quarry tramways, geology, wildflowers, treasure hunt and dog walks, you may even be accompanied by peacocks as you stroll through the streets where Ross Poldark wandered when filming the popular Poldark TV drama series. How can anything this fun be good for you as well?
