Lacock – The Well Preserved Village
A beautifully preserved village lost in time, 14 miles north-east of Bath and part of the Southern Cotswolds, in rural Wiltshire
Wander Lacock’s streets and become enchanted by the many limewashed half-timbered medieval stone houses, nestling between stone & brick cottages and Inns.
Lacock provides the visitor with an enjoyable trip into the past, it’s almost devoid of the usual mundane trappings of the 21st century. However, you will see a National Trust Shop, a Goldsmith & Jeweller, a Bakery, Gifts & Speciality shops and a unique shop selling artisan gifts made from recycled materials (a must for craters).
