Mother’s Day matinee
The play depicts the delightful story of a sister and brother, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, who plan to adopt a boy from an orphanage to help on their farm. However, they are sent a young, befreckled, red-headed girl by mistake. Their lives will never be the same again!
We follow Anne through her rebellious years and her transformation into a young woman. We also see how her presence in the small community affects those close to her – in many different ways.
