The Batch Gueye Band

ELECTRIC STAGE

Batch Gueye brings the compelling music and dance of Northern Senegal to the UK with an new electric and groove-based multi-cultural band from the Bristol area – The Batch Gueye Band.

The musical mix is a blend of Senegalese M’balax with persuasive rhythms of Central Africa and even further afield. Batch’s sincerity as a singer is equal to the energy he brings as a dancer, and gifted with a clear and powerful voice he seeks to reach a wider audience with his message of compassion and tolerance, and he sings his songs in the Senegalese language Wolof. Language however does not obstruct his music, and the passion Batch has for all he sings can be heard and understood by all.
