Calne Almshouses Open Afternoon

Heritage Open Day: A rare opportunity to step inside Calne’s intriguing 17th century Almshouses as part of Calne Heritage Week. The buildings were paid for by Dr Tounson, the son of the Bishop of Salisbury, and were built for the relief of eight poor widows in the Calne parish. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the Almshouses’ beautiful gardens and complimentary tea and cake.
