Crop Circle Exhibition

The new exhibition in St. Peter’s Church evolves from last years’ summer exhibition at the Wiltshire Museum Exploring the mystery and beauty of Crop Circles, which attracted a record number of visitors and had many positive comments on trip advisor.
The 2015 exhibition comes with a new theme as there is a very special occasion; the 25th anniversary of the Eastfield Pictogram. The appearance of the first crop circle pictogram (approx. 600 ft. long) in 1990 in East Field near Alton Barnes (Wiltshire), set the media and public interest on fire and embedded crop circles in the minds of millions around the world.
Before 11th July 1990 crop circles were relatively a novelty to the general public. Since the arrival of this particular pictogram many things have changed, crop circle wise, research wise and farmers’ wise. Looking back this event preluded a new era in crop circle history. Important topics from “before and after 1990″ will be presented at the exhibition.
The multi-media exhibition in St. Peter’s Church will feature a large selection of high quality photos of some of the most intricate and perplexing crop circles since 1990. It informs via text, footage, videos and interactive map-displays about the history, facts, research, theories and ideas and farmers’ views regarding the crop circle phenomenon.
The focus of the exhibition lies in the – so far – unexplained part of the crop circle phenomenon. The man-made element of crop circles will also be covered.
