Devizes Pancake Races 2015

An Event for the Community
This event has become a regular part to the Devizes calendar.

In past years local business, schools, nurseries and individual youngsters have all entered in the spirit of the day to compete in a series of relay races up and down the Market Place in Devizes.

This year, Shrove Tuesday falls during the half-term week so will we will be departing from our usual location in the Market Place and holding the races at Hillworth Park in Devizes

On the Day

Races will be held at Hillworth Park between 12:00pm – 2:00pm.

We are looking for people to take part in the races. If you would like to enter a team to take part on the day then we would love to hear from you.

You can sign up on the day or register your interest beforehand by contacting our office on 01380 727767 or by emailing us at admin@ageukwiltshire.org.uk. It’s free to take part so there really is no reason to stay away.

The event isn’t just about taking part in the racing. We need spectators to make the day a success.

Why not come along and cheer for your favourite team.

Hot pancakes, Easter Chicks and cakes will also be on sale on the day, with all proceeds going to support the services we provide to older people in Wiltshire.
