Introduction to Mono-printing

There are many printmaking techniques, most of which require expensive equipment and involve several complex stages. Mono-printing, however, is delightfully simple involving nothing more than a flat smooth surface, a roller and some ink. You don’t have to be a skilled artist to create really impressive prints.
This session is ideal for those new to printmaking, or if you have tried it before it is a good opportunity to hone your skills. It’s always good to have an idea of the sort of picture you’d like to produce so bring along some photographs, etc. to use as inspiration.
Saturday’s session includes time for a short lunch break (lunch not provided), which can be taken in the Museum
Saturday 12th November, 10.30am – 2.30pm
Wednesday 16th November, 5.30pm – 8.30pm
Price: £10 (£8 FOTM discount)
