MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
A Blue Apple Production
Claudio and Hero are in love and marriage is on the cards. However, there are those who are plotting to stop it. Beatrice and Benedick, meanwhile, can’t stand all that love stuff anyway.
Be prepared for lies, trickery, deception, misunderstanding, matchmaking, parental meddling and general chaos – all richly blended together with love, wit and humour.
The mix of romance, borderline slapstick, verbal comedy, soaps and melodrama makes this a timeless piece of theatre that’s especially relevant to audiences new to Shakespeare.
Adapted specially for the company, this 70 minute version of Much Ado develops Blue Apple’s reputation as a leader in theatre performance for actors with learning disabilities by tackling Shakespeare in unexpected, exciting and accessible new ways.
