Race for Life Pretty Muddy
Race for Life Pretty Muddy is our brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course where you can show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink. You must be over 13 years old to take part in this event.
Bring a change of clothes for after your event and a towel to wipe off the worst of the mud after your fight and remember there are no showers or lockers at Pretty Muddy events, but there will be a bag drop area.
You and your friends can also join the fight by volunteering. Our events can’t take place without the hundreds of people who give up their time. Find out more and register to be a volunteer

The course
The Pretty Muddy Swindon route meanders around Lydiard Park, taking in views of the house and lake. The course is primarily on pathways with two short sections on mowed grass. It is generally flat with a short incline towards the end. Plus, with this event being Pretty Muddy, it’ll have our fun obstacles throughout the route to do together. There are lots of opportunities for supporters to watch the fun at each obstacle and the whole event has a fantastic atmosphere.
Meeting point
The start line is in the event park field next to the play area. Please listen to the commentator for instructions for starting your wave.
On the day
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. They can stroll around the stalls, pick up some food and enjoy activities such as a bouncy castle or face painting while waiting to cheer you through the finish.
