RUMOURS – A Comedy Farce

In 1988, decade of the power, shoulder pads & the yuppies, Neil Simon needed to cheer himself up. The solution was to write a farce in two acts, that shows a dinner party gone topsy-turvy. A mixture of upper class toffs meet to celebrate a tenth wedding anniversary but as in all well written farces, nothing goes right. As one door closes another one opens, introducing a pool of eccentric characters from start to finish! Rumours is a side-splitting, hilariously enjoyable romp, that has to be one of Neil Simon’s most celebrated comedies of his time.
