Salisbury International Arts Festival 22 May – 6 June – Circa
May 25, 2015 @ 7:30 pm
£7
Join Australia’s leading circus company Circa as they push the boundaries of acrobatics in a daring musical performance. Inspired by the curves, symmetries and plurality of the letter S, S will fill the stage with the raw immediacy of performers tested to their physical and emotional limits.
Extending the possibilities of human strength and flexibility through an astonishing display of complex acrobatics, S features seven extraordinary performers who bend, fly, contort and hang – sometimes alone and at others in a tangle of bodies. Set to a powerful soundtrack including music by Kimmo Pohjonen and the Kronos Quartet, ‘S’ is sinuous, seductive, sophisticated, sensual and savage
